I Concur
Besides goosebumps, let's also include tears in the corners of the eyes. I've got 'em. Caruso was an amazing, amazing artist.

Goosebumps
Caruso had not only a stupendous voice, but as you can hear here, he was an actor with beautiful delivery of a line, and perfect ennuciation. Unlike many singers today, he really knew what he was saying/singing, and he meant it, even when he was recording it alongside a single musician accompanying him on piano. A treat. He plays the drama of the piece for all it's worth, building to the climax, giving the listener goosebumps!
